This buckle was recovered over 33 years ago from an Army of Tennessee 1863 cavalry camp located at a spring near Tyner`s Station { Chattanooga TN. } When recovered the belt loop on the tongue side was professionally restored by Robert McDaniel of Waterloo Alabama This artifact is 100% guaranteed to be an original from the American Civil War. This was Sold by civil war relics expert Larry Hicklen from Murfreesboro Tennessee.
